Daily Bible Study

Doing Daily Devotions is an exciting journey where God can take you to new heights and new levels by bringing you a new awareness and a new perspective every time. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. God's teaching and training is always for our own good and for His glory!

Daily Devotions also helps us to search our hearts and examine our life's choices and our motives. (Psalm 139:23-24) Are we living up to Godly standards? We sometimes make the excuse "Oh, we're just human!" When you are born-again, you are a new person. The old is gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). So we must stop using the old excuses and live as a new person, with Christ living in us! Daily Devotions helps us to grow to be more like Christ and less like ourselves.

Finally, Daily Devotions builds and strengthens your relationship with Jesus. The only way two people can get to know each other is by spending time and taking mental notes of the heart of the other person. God knows your heart because He created you and knows everything about you. (Psalm 139:13-16).  Although God reveals His heart through His word, there is a very specific plan He has for each one of us. (Jeremiah 29:13) During Daily Devotions, God will begin to reveal His heart even more intimately by revealing His plan for your life, one step at a time.

So enjoy your intimate moments with God. Find a spot to meet with Him daily, a place reserved just for your time together, and journal all He has to say to you through His Word. At an appointed time, He will call you to deliver those messages He has spoken through you. (Habakkuk 2:2-3) He LOVES you and is waiting for you to come spend time with Him. He'll instruct you, train you, and bring conviction, so you can be everything He has created you to be.
